Holy Resurrection Orthodox Mission is a mission-parish of the autocephalous (self-ruled) Orthodox Church in America (OCA).  Our mission was originally established as a missionary outreach of Holy Apostles Orthodox Church in Columbia, SC, and we also work cooperatively with the Saints Mary and Martha Monastery in Wagener, SC.

Our Priest-In-Charge is Father Robert Royer.  Fr. Robert came to Aiken by way of
Detroit, and along with his wife (Matushka Krystal) and four children (Gabby,
Andrew, Christopher, and Samuel) have come to call the Central Savannah River
Area home.

Our parish is made up of people from all walks of life, and even different
countries and cultures.  From young adults with children to great-grandparents,
from Puerto Rico to Belarus, our community is truly a melting pot.  We would
love to see you, no matter where you are from or what your background may be.
 And don't worry if you're new to Orthodoxy; a significant percentage of our
parish is made up of people who came to the Orthodox Church from other Christian confessions.  You're sure to find someone with similar experiences to yours, and we welcome all visitors with open arms.  Be sure to stay for Coffee Hour so you can get to know us!
